Earned his name by notoriously breaking landing gear legs, if you haven't seen Forest Gump then we highly recommend it. This drone is currently being used for GAAS Development and was built based on the specification provided by the Redtail Project.
Originally developed for testing the monocular trailnet DNN, we named this drone because of our work on a package delivery product pitch. Wheres Waldo? Oh, there's Waldo!
The lead autonomous vehicle, built to collaborate in a large network of autonomous delivery robots. Milieu broken into its two parts means middle place, which is what this vehicle would be between package distribution centers and customers' homes. Azimuth is its call name because it is the lead vehicle in the network of ground vehicles, and all other position commands are made with reference to and from the Azimuth robot.
The Babel robot is simple in design compared to the lead Azimuth robot. It is outfitted with only the hardware needed to receive pose commands from the Azimuth. It does not have any additional sensors to perceive its environment, instead it blindly follows the lead vehicle's directions. Babel was chosen as its name because it communicates on a lower level, similar to a babbling child.
