The IFAC 2020 Grand Prix was a virtual racing competition where driving agents were required to complete two laps around the race track in the fastest time possible. This event was conducted in two phases. First, teams must complete the qualifying phase by developing an agent that can not only complete two laps around the track, but also practice basic obstacle avoidance by dodging a set of obstacles on the track. Next, agents are matched up into a bracket competition (AKA the Grand Prix phase) where they race against another car and strive to complete two laps first.
